Questions

Before you send drawings

  • Yes. Send the enclosure drawing or a marked-up schematic with overall size, door swing, cutouts, and material. We fabricate the steelwork — skins, doors, mounting plates — and leave internal electrical assembly to your panel builder unless specified.

  • Mild steel is standard for indoor MCC and control boxes. Stainless (304/316) and galvanized sheet are available for wet, coastal, or outdoor duty. Thickness follows the drawing; typical skins are 1.2–2.0 mm with heavier mounting plates where specified.

  • We can hand over bare, primed, or powder-coated boxes. If you have a house colour or outdoor spec, send it with the RFQ. Hardware (hinges, locks) can be fitted after coating so the finish stays clean.

  • Simple single-door boxes are usually 7–10 working days after drawing approval. Multi-door MCC skins or stainless outdoor boxes take longer once cutouts, stiffeners, and finishing are sequenced. Rush slots are available when the nest allows.

  • Yes, if you can send dimensions, photos, and a sample door or gland plate. We reverse the envelope, confirm cutouts with you, then cut and form a replacement set so site crews are not waiting on an obsolete catalog part.
