CNCbending

Press-brake forming for sheet and plate, run from our North Jakarta shop. Angles held to the drawing, from the first article through the batch.

Capabilities

What the shop runs

Terra Presisi Metalworks operates hydraulic press brake and section rolling equipment in North Jakarta, providing precision bending and forming services for sheet metal, structural steel, and custom fabrication projects. Our CNC-controlled press brakes deliver repeatable angles, tight tolerances, and clean bends for both prototype and production work.

  • Hydraulic press brake bending up to 6mm mild steel, 4mm stainless steel
  • CNC back-gauge control for repeatable positioning
  • Angle bending, channel forming, and box section fabrication
  • Section rolling for curved profiles and cylindrical components
  • Tooling for standard 90° bends and custom angles (acute, obtuse, hemming)
  • In-house setup and bend sequence planning

Applications

Where it goes

Typical work for cnc bending, fabricated in North Jakarta and shipped to site.

  • Electrical enclosures and control panel boxes
  • Machine frames and equipment housings
  • Brackets, channels, and L-profiles for structural assembly
  • Cable tray and ladder side rails
  • Architectural cladding and facade components
  • Custom sheet metal assemblies

Questions

Before you send drawings

  • Our hydraulic press brakes can bend mild steel up to 6mm and stainless steel up to 4mm, depending on bend length and material grade. For thicker structural sections or pipe, we use rolling and forming equipment with different capacity limits.

  • CNC press brake bending typically holds ±0.5° angle tolerance and ±0.5mm position tolerance on bend lines. Tighter tolerances can be achieved with secondary fixturing or machining for critical applications.

  • Yes, we bend both stainless steel (304, 316) and aluminum, though thickness limits are lower due to material springback and hardness. Stainless bending may require larger bend radii to avoid cracking, which we account for in flat pattern development.

  • Yes. Multi-bend parts like enclosure boxes or Z-brackets are programmed with optimal bend sequences to avoid tool collisions and maintain dimensional accuracy. We provide flat blank DXFs if you want to review the developed pattern before cutting.

  • Bending is usually completed within 3–7 working days after laser cutting, depending on part complexity and queue. For integrated projects where we handle cutting, bending, and welding, expect 7–10 working days total. Rush service is available for urgent deadlines.

  • We offer full enclosure assembly with welding, hardware installation (hinges, latches, handles), and finishing. Alternatively, we can supply bent parts as kit form for your own assembly. Let us know your preference when requesting a quote.
