Terra Presisi Metalworks cuts and bands steel grating in North Jakarta for platforms, walkways, and trench covers that have to drop in on the first visit. Panels are sized to the drawing, banded on the load-bearing edges, and finished to the site spec so site crews are not grinding in place.

Questions

Before you send drawings

  • Yes. Send a panel schedule or a drawing with overall size, bearing-bar direction, and openings. We cut, band, and mark each panel so it lands on the correct span. Irregular shapes, notches, and pipe penetrations are part of the same job.

  • Serrated grating is the usual choice for oily or outdoor plant walkways. Plain is cleaner for indoor platforms and covers that need a flatter top. If the spec is silent, we will recommend serrated for access ways and plain for trench covers that see carts.

  • Yes. HDG after fabrication is standard for outdoor and plant duty. Painted grating is available for indoor architectural or dry-plant use. Galvanizing is sequenced after cutting and banding so cut edges are coated.

  • Load and deflection follow the drawing and the bearing-bar size. Send the span, uniform load, and any point-load (wheel or equipment) and we will select bar size and banding, or fabricate exactly to a specified section.

  • Cut-to-size panels in standard bar are typically 7–14 working days after approval, plus galvanizing. Large platform packages or mixed treads and trench covers are phased so the first grids can go to site while the rest finish.
